- AI is a genuinely useful tool, and part of the job is knowing when to reach for it. Plenty of work does not need it, and a dependable automation often does the job while keeping things reliable and cheap to run. Where AI does add something real, like making sense of a lot of information quickly, it gets used. The point is to pick the right tool for the job, not to chase AI for its own sake or avoid it on principle.
- Whatever suits the job best. We are not tied to any one platform, and if there is a better tool for a particular task, that is the one we use. Where it makes sense we build on the software a business already has, so there is nothing new for the team to learn. Tools we have used on client work include n8n, Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Graph), Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Slack, Python, and Claude where AI genuinely helps.
