Privacy policy
How E10 Solutions handles the information you share through this website.
Who we are
E10 Solutions is a sole trader business run by Jay Alcock, based in the United Kingdom. E10 Solutions is the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, get in touch through the contact form.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the details of your message. That is the only personal information we ask you for.
Like most websites, our host and analytics also record limited technical information, such as the pages visited, approximate location at country level, browser type, and the site you came from. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Why we use it
We use the information from the contact form only to read your enquiry and reply to it. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch and, where relevant, taking steps to enter into a contract at your request. The technical information helps us understand how the site is performing and improve it.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the site and handle enquiries:
- Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly analytics.
- Google Analytics measures site usage, once you have agreed to analytics cookies.
These providers act on our instructions as processors. Because some of them are based outside the UK, your data may be transferred abroad. Where that happens it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and where visitors arrive from. Google Analytics sets cookies, so it only runs after you agree to it.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. If you reject, none are set. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
We also use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless, does not identify you, and runs without needing consent.
How long we keep it
We keep contact enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to follow up on any work that results, then delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for a copy of it. To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date below.
